- 1. 下載與匯入
- 1.1. 準備一台 FTP Server (或者 HTTP Server)
- 1.2. 匯入 *.tgz
- 1.3. 匯入 *.ova
下載與匯入
OVM Template 從官網的下載區，提供有兩種格式檔案：
- *.ova 需以 Assmblies 匯入後，再新增為 VM Template
- *.tgz 可直接以 VM Template 匯入
準備一台 FTP Server (或者 HTTP Server)
因為 OVM template 檔不能直接複製到 Storage Repositories，而必須透過 FTP 或 HTTP 的方式匯入。
將下載的 *.ova 及 *.tgz 檔案上傳到一部 FTP Server，並取得這些檔案的下載連結，例如
ftp://192.168.21.203/OVM/ovm_templates/OVM_OL5U11_x86_64_PVM.ova。
匯入 *.tgz
OVMM > Repositories > 選擇 Storage Repositories > VM Templates > Import VM Template
- VM Template URLs: 輸入 ovm template 的連結位址，例如 ftp://192.168.21.203/OVM/ovm_templates/OVM_OL5U7_X86_64_PVM_10GB.tgz。
- Proxy: 保持空白
最後檢查
OVMM > Repositories > 選擇 Storage Repositories > VM Templates
匯入 *.ova
匯入 Assembly
OVMM > Repositories > 選擇 Storage Repositories > Assemblies > Import VM Assembly
- VM Assembly download location: 輸入 ovm template 的連結位址，例如 ftp://192.168.21.203/OVM/ovm_templates/OVM_OL5U11_x86_64_PVM.ova。
- Proxy: 空白
轉換 Assembly 為 Template
OVMM > Repositories > 選擇 Storage Repositories > Assemblies > 選擇剛剛匯入的 Assembly > Create VM Template (圖示＋)
最後檢查
OVMM > Repositories > 選擇 Storage Repositories > VM Templates
